OBERAMMERGAU PASSION PLAY
PRESENTED EVERY TENTH YEAR
Tens of thousands from all over the world,
representing all denominations, come to
see this powerful event in the Alps.
Two thousand villagers in this charming
village act out what happened to Jesus
from His triumphal entry into Jerusalem,
through His trial and crucifixion, culminating in His resurrection.
We have incorporated this high impact
production into tours in 1980, 1984 (a
special anniversary year), 2000 and now
2010. The next one won’t be until 2020.
